1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using the IMAS Visa Application Portal ("the Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal. These terms apply to all parents, guardians, and users who access the Portal.
2. Purpose of the Portal
The Portal is provided exclusively for the purpose of submitting and tracking student visa applications for students enrolled at or applying to IMAS International School Kuala Lumpur. Use of the Portal for any other purpose is not permitted.
3. Account Responsibility
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must notify IMAS immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You must not share your account with other individuals.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and submitting applications. Providing false or misleading information may result in the rejection of your application and termination of your account. IMAS accepts no liability for consequences arising from inaccurate information submitted by users.
5. Document Uploads
Documents uploaded to the Portal must be genuine, unaltered, and belong to the student named in the application. Uploading fraudulent documents is a criminal offence and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
6. No Guarantee of Visa Approval
Submitting an application through the Portal does not guarantee visa approval. Visa decisions are made by Malaysian Immigration authorities and EMGS. IMAS acts only as a facilitating agent and is not responsible for visa outcomes.
7. Processing Timelines
Visa processing timelines are subject to government and EMGS schedules and are outside the control of IMAS. The Portal provides status updates as information becomes available but does not guarantee specific processing timeframes.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and functionality of the Portal is the property of IMAS International School and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IMAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Portal, including but not limited to visa delays, rejections, or data loss.
10. Amendments
IMAS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Portal after amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Users will be notified of material changes by email.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
